  • Looking to open new career opportunities? The Masters in Forensic Accounting Program at FAU will give you all the tools you need to join in one the fastest-growing career opportunities in accounting, and you will receive up to 27 of the hours in accounting, which is enough accounting hours in most states for the Forensic AccountingCPA Certificate. (Florida requires 36 accounting hours. Click here to see a summary of the requirements in all 50 states. International students can also obtain the CPA certificate.) You are welcome into the program with no previous taxation, business, or accounting courses. We want bright minds!
  • Interested in the CPA or other professional certification? The Master of Accounting in Accounting permits you to focus on the accounting hours needed for professional certification. You will receive up to 27 of the hours in accounting, which is enough accounting hours in most states for the CPA Certificate. (Florida requires 36 accounting hours. Some states may more require more accounting hours and some states may require fewer, and some states may require that specific courses be taken, and some states will require certain non-accounting courses as well.

Forensic Accountants work throughout the business world, in public accounting, corporations, and in all branches of government (from the FBI and CIA to the offices of the local authorities).
